I was born and raised here in the San Jaoquin Valley between Sacramento and the Bay Area of California.

My parents divorced when I started my sophomore year in high school and it was at that point where I became a man, quit my sports and decided to get a job to help with the family. It was hard for my mother to be single and it hurt to see her struggle, so I did what I could to help ease the pressure from her.  I must say that anything good that I do is because of the way she raised me.

Currently I'm also in the process of getting my personal training certifications and will be working as a personal trainer very soon. When I'm not modeling or working, I'm usually at the gym or hanging out with my niece and nephews. Doing whatever I can to make them laugh because that is what brings me the most joy in life. I'm just a normal person like everyone else. Living day-by-day and surviving.

I know the last year of my life should be made into a book. None of this would even be possible if it weren’t for Annette Batista finding me on MODELMAYHEM. I was doing modeling and posted pictures on my site, and there was something Annette saw that screamed out "Mr. Romance". She believed in me and told me about this competition. I was just a normal guy working out at the gym and struggling with a temp agency for a job. Now, I have all these doors opening for me and the possibilities are endless!

What Do You Hope For In The Future: Professionally, I am looking forward to doing the book cover and possibly having this lead me to bigger projects such as Acting. I've always wanted to be a movie star because I enjoy entertaining people. Putting smiles on their faces and making sure they are having a great time while in my presence is always a must. That's how it was for me at the convention. I made it a point to make sure these wonderful people enjoyed themselves. Someone described this event as their "Christmas" and I wanted to be the one playing Santa =-)

Personally, Id love to fall in love and get married. Be happy and start a family. Where I REALLY see myself in the future, is coming home from work hearing my Dog barking as I walk up and having my kids run out the door to hug "daddy" as my beautiful wife stands in the doorway with a smile on her face. That's happiness, and that is what I really want in life.

How Important Is Beauty In Your Life: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, it's not important. The guys at the gym make fun of me sometimes because I'll say this girl looks attractive and they will be like "Ugh, no way, look at her face, or legs etc." But, I'm not looking at the physical...I'm looking much deeper. That same person that they think is ugly, turns out to be a really beautiful person once you talk to them. This is something that happens a lot. Beauty isn’t defined by the physical looks, its something much deeper than that.

How Do You Feel About The Fashion World: I think they need more models like me to represent them. HAHAHA Seriously. Let's face it; the majority of the population isn't over 6 feet tall and weighing no more than 150 lbs. I think that the industry could really benefit from showing more diversity with models representing their clothing. If you show your clothing line using everyday normal people, and not these perfect people that are very rare to find, then you invite a whole new world of people to your market and they will want to buy your clothes. It would be a great investment, but what do I know about fashion right? I live in gym clothes. HAHAHA

What Is Your Favorite Sport: FUTBALL!! Soccer is what we call it, but it is futball. I have the genetics to play. My parents are legends in the local community for their skills and trophies they have won back in the day. I come from a line of greatness on the field. Now that I'm back home, I';m going to train to play again. You would be pretty surprised how this big guy can move on the field.

What Would You Say Is Your Favorite Part Of Your Body: It has to be my heart. Its the biggest and is used more than any other part of my body.

Where Have You Or Would You Like To Travel To: I've been to many places. New York, New Jersey, Florida Texas. But the one travel trip I remember taking, was Mexico...and it wasn't a Cancun or spring break trip.  The girl I was dating at the time had family in the middle of Mexico. There was a wedding, a sweet 16 party or quinceañera and it was during Christmas!!! It was by far the best and most well remembered trip I have taken. I was surrounded by people who loved me. I learned so much about the Mexican culture and how these people are so humble with their lives. I know there is a lot of debate about illegal aliens and stuff, but this trip really opened up my eyes to the lives that they live and why so many people leave their families in Mexico to provide a better living for their families in America. It's very inspirational.

What Characteristics Do You Admire In People: Honesty and sincerity. When you speak to someone and really mean it, not just saying things to get ahead. I don't like the people who tell me to my face one thing, and then tell someone else something behind my back. I also admire how friendly and personable people are.

Are You A Romantic: Well, I would like to think so. You would have to ask the girls I go out with. HAHAHA, No seriously, I always try to do things to make the woman I am dating feel special. Not physical things, but more little and have meaning to them. Surprise lunch at work, flowers just because. Little things matters the most.

What Are Some Of Your Favorite Things: Helping people out who are sincere about it. People set goals and sometimes need help with them. I'm always happy to help others. I also love the sound of my niece and nephew laughing. When I pick them both up and lay them down side by side and give them a "tickle torture," oh man, the sounds of their little laughter makes me happier than anything else.

Final Thought: Well, All I can say is that I have been truly blessed with all that I have done within this short time. I would never have imagined being here where I am. I'm very thankful that Annette Batista found me and pushed me to  "get out of bed" and not let my potential be wasted.
