Julian was born February 16th 1976 in California. Julian's parents met while his mother was studying art in Florence, Italy from the States and his father, a native Italian, was studying law. Julian was raised in both Southern California and New York. He was the quarterback on his high school football team and was also a member of the swim team. Julian became a foreign exchange student and attended one semester in Asia. Thus began his great love for Asia and the Asian culture. Julian attended NYU for both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. During the time he was attending NYU for his Master's Degree, while Julian was in a club, an agency offered him a modeling opportunity and three weeks later he was offered his first modeling job with "Men's Health." Julian continued to model while in grad school to help defray his costs.

After receiving his Master's Degree, Julian concentrated on using his degree in Pediatric Physical Therapy assisting physically challenged children in the inner schools. Julian decided to get back into modeling because he wanted to travel more while still helping the children. Some of those he has modeled for include: Sax Fifth Avenue, Men's Health, Credit Swiss Bank, LG Phones, and underwear ads to Jacuzzi's. Soon afterward, Julian decided he wanted to branch into acting. He soon starting taking acting classes and began appearing in numerous television ads and shows including:  "Things I Hate About You," on Bravo, a promo for A&E, and he appeared on "Ugly Betty," on ABC.  

In May of 2005, Julian was asked to appear in Playgirl, and in August 2006, he became a Playgirl centerfold. Due to numerous positive responses, he did a couple of more spreads for the October issues. Julian receives a ton of fan mail from his large Playgirl fan base and is very appreciative of his many fans.

What do you hope for in the future?
I would really like to do more acting in both television and commercials, while still continuing to model. I would also like to open my own personal training studio. In addition, having been told I will soon be gracing the cover of my first novel, I look forward to more book cover opportunities. On a personal note, I would really like to meet a good woman and settle down.

How important is beauty in your life?
Since my heritage is Italian, we love beautiful things - being surrounded by beauty, looking at beautiful things and appreciating all beauty. But in my heart I know that beauty comes from within and I would much rather appreciate that beauty.

How do you feel about the fashion world?
I love fashion, I love nice clothes; but I'm a comfort guy, so I'm not a slave to fashion. If it looks nice and is comfortable, that's good enough for me.

Do you like sports? What is your favorite sport?
I love to play sports like basketball and snowboarding. I'm not much into watching sports, however.

What would you say is your favorite part of your body?
My tongue - I love good food. Hey, I'm Italian!

Where have you, or would you like to travel to?
I want to go to Japan and to all of Asia. They have such a rich and ancient history - the land and the people are so beautiful and I also love the food! I have been to a good part of Europe, South America, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Ecuador, and I LOVE Hawaii.

What characteristic(s) do you admire most in people?
I like people who have a good sense of humor - people who don't take themselves too seriously.

Are you a romantic?
Yes. I like to make a woman feel special. With any relationship you have to work at it. You can't expect any relationship to work if you aren't willing to put the time and the effort into making it work. I love taking my love interests to romantic dinners and spoiling them. Flowers and presents for no reason are a must! Putting a smile on my women's face and making her happy makes me the happiest.

What are some of your favorite things?
Making love and being out in nature - at the beach or on a mountain, but I especially enjoy making love out in nature!

Final thought:
I'm happy to being doing romance covers now. If I can put a smile on even one woman's face, I'm a happy man.
