C.H. Admirand
C.H. Admirand C.H. was born in Aiken, South Carolina, but her parents moved back to northern New Jersey where she grew up, which if you've met her would explain a lot. She's always had her nose in a book, has traveled the world over, and even tested the time-space continuum, thanks to the awesome power of the written word... Her love for the written word is a gift from her parents, but the need to write was instilled by her 7th Grade English teacher. One of her writing quirks is that she loves to include bits and pieces of her ancestors and ancestry in all of her books. Check out C.H.'s genealogy page to see which characters are named after family or friends. The castle on her website is the ancestral home of her Purcell ancestors, Loughmoe Castle in Tipperary, Ireland

C.H. Admirand's 10th novel, A GIFT FROM HOME, Book 4 in her on-going Irish Western Series, will be released by Five Star Expressions in August 2010. This award-winning, multi-published author's books are available in hardcover, trade paperback, magazine and e-book format. C.H.'s four uncles served in the Army and Navy, her father-in-law in the Army Reserve; her great-great uncle began his Naval career in 1908 as a coal passer, his cousin was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor and later had a destroyer named after him. In July 2009, when visiting with wounded warriors at both Walter Reed Hospital and the National Naval Medical Center, C.H. took a side trip to Arlington Cemetery with fellow author and friend, Tara Nina, and found her relative's gravestone, but only after asking the Lord for guidance and receiving a response in the form of a church bell ringing stopping her in her tracks right next to the gravestone!

Fate, destiny and love at first sight will always play a large part in C.H.'s stories because they played a major role in her life. When she saw her husband for the first time, she knew he was the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with. She's loved him forever...well...more than half her life. Each and every hero C.H. writes about has a few of Dave's best qualities, his honesty, his integrity, his compassion for those in need and his killer broad shoulders. She's such a sucker for a man with broad shoulders.

She loves to hear from readers! You can write to C.H. at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or catch up on her latest blog.
